We have one simple purpose, to help your business to become better.
Doug Stewart is the owner and CEO of Waring Stewart Associates.
Doug’s Horticultural career started when he was 13 year old, growing vegetables on contract for the village shop, and progressed with Doug gaining experience in the salad cropping, houseplant and cut flower industries. Doug, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, is also a holder of the Royal Horticultural Societies premier qualification the Master of Horticulture.
As well as working in the Horticultural Industry Doug has also worked for over 30 years as a trainer, and for the last 15 years Doug has been working as a Horticultural Consultant.
Doug’s clients include the BBC, the RHS, the HTA and numerous Independent Garden Centres.
Currently Doug is working with the BBC, where he presents a two hour weekly Gardening Phone in on BBC Radio Humberside. This keeps Doug fully in touch with the world of the amateur gardener. Doug works as a Professional Associate with the RHS, and runs Retail and Catering Business Improvement Schemes for the HTA.
Doug’s other clients include many independent garden centres.
15 years ago Doug was instrumental in establishing 4 Seasons, a Social Enterprise Company that employs adults with learning disabilities offering them the chance to experience the world of work.
